These past two years have been all about working hard, building relationships and providing value to our clients. We have provided consulting, training and appraisal services to not only our clients but also joined forces with organizations around the globe to offer our services to their clients as well. We continued to attend events and conferences to keep in touch with the current industry and build new relationships. After having worked with clients in health, information technologies, finance, automative industries, we have now started providing our services in defense industry.

In this presentation that I delivered for a PMI-SOC event on May 21, 2015, I discuss how CMMI-DEV complements PMBOK in building mature Project Management processes.
It is still difficult to find "a one-size fits all" solution when it comes to improving an organization`s performance. Because of this reason, most companies adopt good practices from multiple sources.
I think, it is time we stop seeing CMMI as a means to get “certified” or going through the hassle of a tedious and expensive appraisal and start seeing it for what it is, a process improvement framework to improve your organization`s performance.
